This is the first gift guide I’ve ever written, but it couldn’t be for a more important holiday. Can I get an amen?
Since becoming a mother, I’ve had a few truly awesome Mother’s Day gifts. The Mac computer I’m typing on right now would definitely be in that category.
But I’ve also had plenty of “You really shouldn’t have. . . ” gifts as well.
Then there were the Mothers’ Days when I said, “Just give me an afternoon to go shop and I’ll pick out my own gift.”
So I thought it might be a good idea to give some hints. If you’re anything like me (and I’m guessing maybe you are) then these are gifts you’d like to get for Mothers’ Day. I’ve listed lots of ideas in all different price ranges, so here goes:
Mothers’ Day Gifts under $15
I received one of these years ago from a student and I’ve used it ever since. It’s handy for holding on to my keys when my hands are full of groceries, and not having to dig through my purse. A must-have for the busy mom!
Bath and Body Works Stress Free Aromatherapy Products
This is my personal favorite scent at Bath and Body Works. And what mom doesn’t need a little stress relief, right? Choose the Bubble Bath/Shower Gel or the Body Lotion for a gift Mom will love. Or splurge a little and get both!
These scarves shout “spring” and are the perfect accessory to dress up any outfit. Plus they are lightweight and perfect for warm days and cool nights.
Devotional book or pretty journal
For the Mom who loves words, you can’t go wrong with a pretty journal.
Inspirational Wall Art
Funky Inspirational Jewelry
I got one of these from my kids for Christmas, and I LOVE it! Not only is it easy to take on the go, it keeps my coffee hot forever!
A Pair of Stylish earrings
It’s no secret I love costume jewelry. It’s one place where you can always afford to be trendy. These earrings from Target are elegant and affordable!
These look so comfortable and won’t make Mom’s feet hot during the summer! I used to have a pair of these and I’m thinking I need some new ones, hint, hint!
Ooh, I would love this, too! Somebody please stop me!
Mothers’ Day Gifts Under $30.00
If Mom likes to read, check out my Amazon store with all my favorite book suggestions! You’re sure to find something there that she’ll love!
I ordered one about a month ago per Emily of Jones Design Company’s suggestion. I’m in love with it. So much that I’m thinking about getting another one. (Hint: I really like the bright geometric patterned case pictured below!)
I’m in love with this shirt and I need it on my body now. In a much bigger size than she’s wearing.
These are the only kind of hangers I use in my closet. My mom gave me some years ago and it was a fantastic gift that I still use daily. They take up less space than plastic or wooden hangers, they are gentle on clothes, and slippery things don’t fall off. Plus, they make your closet look pretty and organized.
Mothers’ Day Gifts Under $50
I’ve been using Plan to Eat for years now and it’s fantastic. It keeps track of all my recipes, and I can easily drag and drop to plan menus in a snap. Then I can use the handy shopping list when I go to the store to make sure I don’t forget anything. Absolutely worth every penny!! Buy a subscription for your Mom, and then splurge and get one for yourself as well!
I don’t own any Lisa Leonard jewelry, but I sure wish I did. This necklace is absolutely lovely and meaningful.
The Beauty Blender will completely change how you put on makeup forever. I didn’t believe the hype. We’re talking about a makeup sponge. But after reading tons of reviews, and a recommendation from my sister who is the makeup queen, I bought one of these. Let me tell you, it’s magic. Makes makeup application super easy and flawless. This set comes with two sponges and a bottle of cleanser to wash your sponge.
This tote’s been on my wish list for a while now. I’m not an expensive handbag kind of girl, so I can truly appreciate a tote that’s inexpensive but also a workhorse. I’m longing for this cognac Street Level Tote, but would love the black Scalloped Tote, too!
Mother’s Day Gifts Under $100
I’m a huge fan of wind chimes, especially of the musical variety. These are gorgeous.
I got one of these for Christmas and I use it almost every night. Not only does it get my face super clean, but it’s like having a mini-facial, too!
Best. Gift. Ever.
It’s a robe, it’s a sweater, it’s a blanket, it’s the very definition of cozy. It looks like a winter gift, but don’t be fooled. I wear mine indoors during the summer when the air conditioner is going. Best investment I ever made. Even at close to $100, it’s more cost-effective per wear than any other clothing item I own! And it comes in so many yummy colors!!
The Sky’s the Limit
If Mom loves to read, you can’t go wrong with a Kindle Paperwhite. I keep mine with me at all times. It’s slim and fits easily into your purse, and you can read in the dark AND on the beach. It’s perfect.
And what better place to lounge around reading your Kindle than in a personal hammock? I’m totally drooling over this!
A Keurig Coffee Maker
We got one for Christmas and it gets daily use in our house. If Mom is an avid coffee drinker, this is a gift she’ll love!
